“Couldn’t really fault it! ”

I stayed at this B&B as a last minute decision, almost solely based on location.
What a pleasant surprise it turned out to be. Easy to find on the main road with plenty of signs to guide you in.
I stayed in a large, almost family sized room which was decorated nicely. There are plenty of objects about but it is all tastefully done.
There was a table and a couple of chairs, TV, mini fridge, tea and coffee, plenty of reading material, dressing gowns etc.
Bed was comfy with plenty of pillows.
Bathroom was a treat with large corner shower and also a large corner bath (although you may need to duck to get in the bath due to the sloping roof) beautifully fluffy towels and quality toiletries.
Breakfast was ordered the night before, but that suited me. It consists of a choice of cooked food complimented by a large continental selection. Food itself was well cooked and presented.
Add free wi-fi and parking plus friendly owners, and it all adds up to a really good stay.
If eating out in the evening , I would recommend The Cock Inn which is about 4 miles away, but worth the trip.
