Yesterday we visited Notcutts graden centre in Ditchling West Sussex, just 20 mins drive from Beechwood B and B. Enclosed are some of the beautiful pictures. Guests can have a great day out her with the children.
P.s. Guess who arrives this weekend…..Santa Claus and his reindeer.
This weekend is all about the weather here in East Sussex. Snow is forecast for Sat and Sun how exciting. Arctic Air is bringing snow showers to the uk and temperatures will drop below 10 celsius.
Beechwood b and B is ready however with the fire burning and cosy rooms with Hot Chocolate on offer. A full hearty Breakfast in the morning to set you up for exploring the beautiful South East. The picture below was taken in 2011 when we had a heavy snowfall.
Large parts of Lewes will be affected by road closures this thursday for the annual Bonfire parades, roads will be closed from 5pm.
The Lewes Bonfire Night, or the Lewes Bonfire Night Celebrations, is the biggest celebrated Fifth November Event in the world, and is held in the usually peaceful county town of Lewes (pronounced “lu-is or loo-is”), East Sussex, every year on 5th November, and the carnival or festival is known as either the Lewes Bonfire Night Celebrations, Lewes Bonfire Night or just simply the Fifth.
It is the biggest and the only proper bonfire night celebration left of its kind in the Uk. This year it will be on Thursday, 5th November 2015. For the latest News, Gossip etc on the Lewes Bonfire, Sussex Bonfires and other general items, take a look at my Twitter feed (veefourvendetta)

No Car Parking in Lewes on Bonfire Night. . .
In fact, This is not one celebration as such, there are in fact six separate Lewes Bonfire Society’s all celebrating the Fifth in various parts of the town, all with their own processions, traditions, costumes, fire sites and fireworks. If you are thinking of driving to this Fifth of November Lewes Bonfire Night Celebration event on Guy Fawkes Night, 5th November, I would forget it as car parking will be a big no, no unless you get here very early as all the car parks and street parking in the town will fill up early. There will be road closures all evening and night all around the Sussex routes into Lewes, starting from about 2pm, and the main procession routes will be out of bounds for car parking. Your best bet is to either use the Bus, The Southern Railway Service or GM Taxi In Lewes.
The Bonfire society are going to make another November the 5th in Lewes East Sussex a night to remember.

Probably the best B&B my wife and I have ever stayed at. The house is large and very well presented. The large and immaculately laid out garden is a major attraction on its own. Our bedroom (Emerald) was large and comfortable with all the facilities we could wish for. The breakfast menu is extensive and the service provided by Carol and Ceri was warm and friendly. Can definitely recommend Beechwood.
